Small compact room but had all the necessary features and more. I was surprised with the number of outlets and light controls installed in the room. The AC/heater worked really well which is necessary in the winter and summer temps. I’m a small person so I was very comfortable, but I would advise against bringing more than two luggages. It was tight with just my one check-in and backpack. Location is away from the hustle and bustle but within 12 min walking distance of 5 stations (the cheaper routes that connect to the touristy places like Shinjuku and Shibuya require you to start from Asakusabashi, and I usually ended up taking the metro back to Kodemmacho. Within walking distance of a Lawson, 7-11, and Family Mart take your pick. Staff were super friendly. They set up my luggage forwarding request without any issues and answered all my questions.

The location was close to several subway stations on different lines, so it was easy to get everywhere. One of the stations is just around the corner. You can walk to Akihabara in 20 minutes. Several markets around that work even late at night. And food in Japanese markets is really delicious and of high quality. The room and the bathroom were very clean, the bed and pillows super comfortable. The room is cleaned (sheets changed) once in three days. Breakfast was delicious, but there were just 4 options and they are pretty much alike. It was ok for me, but if you stay longer you may want something else. The staff was nice, actually like everywhere in Japan - hospitable, respectful, polite.

The warmth reception of the staff on night duty as we reached the hotel about 12+ in the morning, checking in was a breeze. We reserved 3 rooms and requested that they were side by side as we were travelling with young children. The rooms were very clean and they maintained the cleanliness till the day we checked out. They replenished the toiletries and coffee everyday, thank you as we needed the coffee. The reception staff were polite, helpful and accommodating. Some spoke very good English but fret not as there's always a Goggle Translate. thank you APA Hotel Nihombashi Bakuroyokoyama Ekimae for making our stay a fantastic and memorable one.

This is my third stay at this property in two years. I have stayed at 8 other places in Tokyo, but keep choose to keep coming back here. It offers great value, especially for solo travelers, and the area is underrated. Very conveniently located on two subway lines. Only 20 minutes direct to Shinjuku. The neighborhoods of Akihabara, Asakusa, and Ginza are even closer. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Neighborhood is nice and quiet. Wholesale luggage vendors are nearby for when you go overboard on shopping. Anyone complaining about room size has never been to Japan before.

Christopher

A very efficient and helpful staff at the reception desk with a good command of English. A small room...yes, but everything is very well thought in every aspect, every square centimeter has been used in an efficient way, so overall everything is very functional. Very clean everywhere. Very good breakfast with good basic choices. Blueberries pancakes are excellent, and the coffee is good. I recommend it. Quiet place and good location close to metro and train station to go to Narita Airport. Many restaurants around.
